There!
My name is Iveta and I want to thank you for considering me to be your photographer! I am so excited that you've come here to explore my work!
Like for many photographers - photography is my passion and it started what feels like a lifetime ago in (what was then) a communist Eastern European country of Czechoslovakia (now Czech Republic). My interest and inspiration came from my father who documented our families' moments through mostly black and white film photography, as colored photography was reserved for slides that we'd project on the wall on special occasions.
Personal photography was truly not as common there as it is here and now, but we were lucky to never go without. He captured memories that, without photographs, would be long gone, especially once we made the move to an entire different country.
He developed his own film in a small dark room in my grandmothers basement. I can still remember watching the magic reveal the memories, people and events - all frozen in their time - come to life. I recently scanned some of our old slides that I brought back from our previous visit. They are memories full of color and simplicity. Authentic and vintage and yet it all feels like yesterday when I look at them.

Today my inspiration comes from my own family and from you... your families, your milestones and your memories that I am so happy to be a part of. I love the simplicity of memorable photographs and the special touch creativity can make.
I am an artist at heart, and I also have passion for animals, flowers, cooking, and I take delight in making things better than I found them. On a side note - I'll go pretty far out of my way for a good European style cappuccino and never turn down a piece of dark chocolate!
I believe that the value of memories is immeasurable and irreplaceable and that a picture is truly worth a thousand words. My goal is to provide you with a fun, personal experience, while we create beautiful photographs together. You, your loves and the important events in your life will be captured through classic and timeless photographs so you can treasure them for lifetimes to come. My style is a mix of rich colors in portraiture, documentary and creative flair through my lens while focusing on the authenticity of you and your moments.
